It probably means that you should have told her in person while looking into her eyes instead. The phone is very impersonal for saying especially that for the first time. Go make it real for her. Take her by the hand and say it to her face and mean it.

Honestly, it could be that time of the month and her feelings may have been a bit out sorts.
But, she may have been happy........
If it were me.... I would be confused as to why the guy couldn't say "I love you!" in person. Especially.... if this is the first time he's stating it...... the man would need to re-evaluate his level of maturity and his comfort with intimacy.

im a girl so i can answer this pretty accuratly... chances are that she loves u too and she is extremely happy to hear u say that u love her... its just likewhen girls cry at romantic things in the movies... except even more cause its really happennin to her... hope that helps... good luck

why should you choose to express your feelings over the phone? Can't you say it in person if your feelings were true?
Probably she cried out of happiness... could be that she was expecting you to tell her face to face... or she could be feeling guilty about something... we cannot tell you why she cried!!! Speak to her and you'll get the definate answer!

crying (lolz) tats cute....but crying like how ......sad or happy .... i mean girls are very sensitive .....so maybe she cried becoz it was al overwhelming.....watever i think if she didnt swear at u rite ther tat means its yess ....lolz but tats cute enevr heard any guys proposing on phone frst and secnd never knew girls cry even now wen u propse them ....cute very cute

if you are in a relationship with her then shes ither really chuft that you said it and she feels the same or she may have guilt , i.e shes been cheating and feels bad !
