Today I need prayers for my son. He is in a detox in Florida and I am in CT. I ask anyone who prays any kind of prayer to please pray for us today. If you want me to pray for you let me know and I will no matter what religion or lack there of. If you are an atheist maybe you could just think of some nice thoughts for us or do some kind gesture in our name. I thank everyone ahead of time. Peace

Heavenly Father, it is so hard to be away from loved ones when we know they are struggling battles, but this mother has asked us to appeal to you for comfort and peace that passeth understanding as her son is in detox, a difficult process and one that is not over just because the days of confinement are over, but is a change in mental and lifestyle attitude, please bring about those changes in his life. And Lord, be with this Mother, who is concerned and passionately pleas for her sons well-being, who has been through many heartaches on her sons behalf as she has chosen to love him inspite of his ways and still desires the truest conversions of heart for him through this detox process. Bring assurances to each that only you can bring. In the precious name of Jesus I offer on behalf of this mother and son, an intercessory prayer of love and peace. Amen.

Yeah sure, why not?!! i will pray for ur son and hope he is OK. Its a good thing u r starting, we have to have that respect for each other. I m with u on this .......... Funny, how u ended with the word 'Peace', thats what my religion literally means Peace ......... My religion is Islam and m a Proud Muslim.

Absolutely, I am in. My younger brother overcame a 29 year alcohol problem successfully. I guess I should say that he is recovering daily from a 20 year alcohol problem. I will pray for you and your son. Alcohol or drug addiction is a terrible affliction, it destroys the person and the people who love the person. Praise the Lord that he is seeking help.

I'm still in and I am praying for your son and family. If we have a specific prayer, such as full recovery, then our prayer will have more power (if you want to be specific).

Remember that What you ask for may sometimes not be answered in the way that you expect, But , God has a master plan for all of us. So keep the faith, and trust your God.
