You want to make sure you are called to do this. And do you mean priest or minister?
Do you go to church? If not you should, to see what you like. Maybe missions is better. Any minister or priest could tell you what steps to take and where to get your training.
I grew up in electronics some years ago and did some engineering. But the best for me was teaching in a Christian school, where I put some of my EE to good use.

Let's see now-there is no Seminary in your Country, you are not even a Christian LET ALONE A CATHOLIC WHICH WOULD TAKE YOU THREE YEARS OF INSTRUCTION and you don't have a Religious background yet you want to become a priest? You wouldn't happen to be surfing from a cave in Afghanistan-would you?

If you are talking about being a catholic priest ,try seeking out the bishop in your local area. Hopefully he would be able to direct you to the right source. You say you have no religious background, does that mean you have never been exposed to religion or you don't have the required education to become a priest . If you for example are not catholic, You would be required to take classes and become catholic. Find a local parish in your area, ask what procedures you need to do on this.

If you want to become a Catholic priest, but, you are not yet even Catholic, the first thing you should do is join the RCIA(Right of Christian Initiation for Adults)at your local Catholic Church, & then seek info. from the Catholic priest about ordination.

priesthood is not a profession. Its a calling. Do u hv a call to be a priest? find that out first. Ask God in the name of Jesus Christ. that should be the first place to start from.

Sometimes in life you must follow your heart. I believe that you know the answer, it's just that you need someone else to agree. Just follow your heart.
