Son, nearly 13, said "Dad's a motherf**ker isn't he mum, otherwise I wouldn't be here" Should I point out that he is wrong because I wasn't a mother before I had him or do I kick the foul-mouthed little bast*rd in the a ss?

jennifer got it right, and i say also you are not doing a good job of bringing your kid up,your comments tell us that, so start with yourself and kick your own ****, this also could be someone who is just winding up and what your saying never happened

. . . I agree with Jennifer and Costa, he obviously gets it from somewhere and there's no place like home.
Why not simply take him to one side and calmly and quietly explain to him that he shouldn't use such a word in describing his father and should show more respect.
If that doesn't work then just say to the little bastard "what on earth makes you think I'm your mother, now f*ck off!" . . .

He is factually right; but it sounds uncouth and indecent, unbecoming of a member from a civilised circle. You should not get worked up by his behaviour. rather try to find out ways and means to culture his conduct as a mother.
