I would advice u to take thing slowly and be her friend first, i mean her FRIEND, not the boyfriend. Show that u care for her but do not over do it. I've been in the same shoes before. She won't feel good either, so don't be sad over it. Remember u have to focus on ur studies if u're still studying. Give her support in times of needs. Take it real slow. U'll see the progress. Write it down on ur diary,it'll help. In time, u'll noe when's the rite time. I've been in this situation before. I denied my feelings for that guy and so did he. We maintained as friends. But whenever, we're together we can't help it that we both have a thing 4 each other and it hurts. So near but yet so far.... Hurts.... I can see his pain too. He calls when i'm sick and constantly asking whether i did get well. Sometimes, he juz pretended that he didn't care n it kinda disappoints me. Deep down i noe he have feelings for me but i wanna noe how strong it was. He was warm at one time and cold at another. I was confused. We went on like this for about a year. I finally confessed to him thro a letter. He told me that it was all a MISUNDERSTANDING. So, do not let go.

Why not be honest about not feeling ready for a relationship, but she'd like to get to know him better. Dating doesn't immediately have to mean relationship. Give it some time with him, see how it feels. As long as she's honest, what should happen will.

The best advice to give her, since she is confused and not willing to erode herself emotionally, is to let the guy to do the chase and then, if she sees potential in him, to go for him. This system always works. If he does not chase her, he is not that into her, so she can relax and move to the next guy without worrying too much.

she sould take it slowly. she should drop little hints. if he hint back, she should make the hints bigger and more obvious. before long they will be one thier first date. if it's not how she planned, she can dump him. if it is, she can try again.

order of dates
1. dinner w/ girls family
2. dinner w/ guys family
3. dinner elsewhere
4. movie
5. dancing
6. anything your little heart desires!!!

if she can't do #1 0r 2, she's not ready for him/ he's not the boy she should have
