Yeah something to do with only fish with scales I think?
I can eat whatever I like.

Any sea-food is Halal for Muslims. Shark-meat is Halal to eat.
Famous things which are Haram (forbidden) for Muslims:
1. Pork
2. Animals which were knowingly killed without God's name.
3. Wine & beer.

I don't know. But i categorized shark as wild animal and has -- err... i don't know the word in english but it is one of our teeth that dracula used to suck blood :) sorry... -- which primarily used to hunt and eat, like felines (cats, tigers, lions, etc ..). These animals mostly eat another animals and therefore they have "hot" blood.
I don't think they mainly eat carcass, they love to hunt their food.
Sorry, this is NOT Islamic answer, only my humble silly logic :)
