V R if your Excel 2003 has .bak file on then you should have back-up copy of both of your files. Open the file.
It looks like this
MYFILEDATA.BAK
where myfiledata should be your file name and BAK is extension for file

Hi, I'm sorry but it would be too late. You cannot retrieve a file that you already saved something over it.

If your file is still open.......make undo (ALT+backspace)........keep pressing ALT+backspace until you get the original stuff....than save it on other location and modify again.....

Can't you just reopen it, and REsave with a 'save as...' with the formatting you want?
