Every time you mainline you are taking a chance of ending your life right then. Grade, cc's,timing, overdosing. At 50 if you are hooked on junk your chances of survival is about up.
The answer lay with Methadone, a free synthetic Heroine that the government makes and is taken with orange juice every morning . That will keep you from getting sick and even though you do get high on it, it's better than taking a chance with a needle and injecting unclean Heroine. Few junkies make it to 50.Use Methadone or Vicoden. Get a script.

There isn't really good information on this, the problem is that most folks who mainline heroin die from other causes, such as HIV, hepatitis, or gun shot. Due to the illicit nature of the drug. considering its effects on the body, I would say that long term use would definitely shorten ones life.

It is possible and does happen. It's not always easy to tell the difference between love, lust and loneliness. I've known many relationships flounder that have been started on the rebound or out of loneliness. There is also the danger of falling into the trap of comparing any subsequent love with the first or previous.

Layne Staley could answer that question for you. Most don't make it to 50. Unless you are growing and harvesting your own poppies - you never know what you're getting, what the purity is or what it's been cut with. Most heroin addicts die choking on their own vomit. Is that appealing to you? And the answer is YES.
