good question. You will know the minute you meet them. You will see things together and share a bond that cannot be explained and never once question you relationship with this person...almost as if they were made just for you. Everyone has a life partner...its just not missing this person when they come in to your life thats the trick.

For me, We can have many life time partners. why should love stop with just one, but the true key is not about them, but you. Until we realize that we are that "life time partner" everybody else trying to satify that relationship with in yourself shall fall to the waste side trying to fill your own void.
"love seeks love" why is that so hard to find...

you cant. you'll need to pray and if you are a christian ask God to help you choose. love and affection does not generally guaranty life partnership. but if your partner is generally considerate towards you, the chances are that he/she may be ok. but generally speaking, there are no clear cut signs to look out for, but to just pray.

you could be with many people who fit in with your chemical (and other) constitution
