how good are esprit watches? are they as good as swiss watches?

if i get a much simpler looking swiss watch at same price, should i opt for it or the fancier looking esprit?

The Esprit watches that I've seen all cost under $100. For that kind of money a watch is a fashion accessory, not a masterpiece. The Esprit watches ar as good as any in that price range.
Just decide if you want the fancy looking watch, or the 'understated' look of the Swiss company.
