He did not claim to be a god and had no disciples, but one of his cousins was betrayed, I think it was the one called Hussein, but I am not very sure about the history of the Muslim faith.

Muhammad had many disciples during his time.We call them Companions of the prophet, numbering more than 10,000 men when re-opening Mecca.
Unlike Jesus, his disciples were true believers and remained loyal without persecutions;many could recite of the whole holy Quran by heart.

Like Christ, Muhammad has many disciples. And, like Christ, most of them betray him at one time or another. The Fundamentalist Muslim Terrorists are a good example of Muhammad being betrayed by his followers.

The word 'Caliph' is the English form of the Arabic word 'Khalifa,' which is short for Khalifatu Rasulil-lah. The latter expression means Successor to the Messenger of God, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him). The title 'Khalifatu Rasulil-lah'. was first used for Abu Bakr, who was elected head of the Muslim community after the death of the Prophet.

Muhammad wasn't Jesus. He didn't have any disciples, nor even anybody betrayed him.
