My bf and I have been together for 6 years, I want to marry him someday and he knows that...yet he says he is not ready to get married, although he knows we will end up together. He cheated on me once during the first year we got together...he seems pretty faithful at the moment in time, but since he doesn't want to marry me anytime soon, I am wondering could it be possible he is cheating on me and just got better at not getting caught? I mean is that why he won't marry me, because he is seeing someone else behind me back?

sometimes we women read too much between the lines and see the impossible.
i wud suggest u sit down and talk abt your relationship and where it is heading....tell him your stand and wat you think.he will open up and tell you why he is delaying marriage arrangemnts.

What the....How can a guy don't wan to get married when he knows you are eventually the one he will be going for..unless he feel that he's financially not ready or he feel this relationship is not up to marriage stage yet.
Good to hear that he's changed eversince the 1st cheating, you just have to open your eyes big to see if he's cheating on you. By not getting married with you doesn't mean he's cheating or seeing someone behind you.

Ask him straight up if he is with someone else.
Trust is the most important thing in a relationship. Do you trust him? HONESTLY ask yourself that.
Maybe he isn't ready to be married because, he isn't sure you are the one. Sorry if that hurts your feelings but, it could be the truth. He might be making sure he can spend the rest of his life with you.
Im sure everything is ok.
He is probably waiting for the right moment.

What are u still doing with him? Dont u know that somewhere out here ur true love is waiting & wondering why is it taking u so long? If he cheated once, he probably will agagin. The most clear sign u have from ur bf is that he told u in ur face that he doesnt want to marry u!

Well I must say that Nomad is wright. True all my experience with boys I can say only this- if he was unfaithful with you once he will be probably again- no matter what he say. Maybe he is not-but I would not believe him and I would look after him.
And maybe he relay just is not ready to marry you- that is another thing. So do not pressure him in something he is not ready. That way you will just loose him-believe.

i think you need to possibably find some evidence before you go ahead and make any moves. i was with this guy for 7 years and for the last years he was cheating on me the way i found out was in his cell phone they were texting and i seen it asked him about it and he denied and took his phone well i had the girls number in my phone and called her in front of him and he cried like a little ***** cause he realized he lost to girls in less then 5 minutes then he messed up our lifes and made us look stupid so we went up to his work and in front of every one (by the way we both worked with him) and made him look like a complete fool that he was!!!! all im saying is make sure if you find something make sure its really what it is before you make a move and lose someone you love!!!!

The best way to find out is to cheat on him too. If he founds out your cheating on him and he does'nt give a damn about it!!! that means its ok for him because he still has a dozen or more.

He may be having various other issues in mind which he needs to do before getting settled.it may not necesserily be an affair with another woman,issues related to finance,household,family,career could be his priorities.so dont worry,just relax,or he may probably need some constructive time to achieve things to give you a better life after commitment.so please relax,,,wait for sometime,and ask him to make it clear about the reason for delay in commitment.

my guess is he got better at not getting caught.
he probably sees marriage as the end of the road, not the beginning.
he will marry you, after he loses interest in changing horses.

my g/f wants to get married im in no hurry and im not cheating on her. its a big deal for a girl to get married for a fella its a lot of hassle.
