You may have been put on hold, or God may have call display and really is not in the mood to be hearing from you again!

Seriously take a hold if your "own life", you are responsible for it and to make what you can of it positive or negitive! Jesus (who everyone calls God these days) isnt going to help you with every little thing.

If there is a God as so many believe in, I dont think you'll be able to blame it when you get there "I spent most my life not knowing what to do, so I spent most of it sitting watching TV, why didnt you give me a sign or something!?"

If you're not getting an answer back from God, try a friend or someone that really is here now that may be able to help you. You never know that could be part of the big plan for you, helping yourself.

Good luck what whatever you need.

I see you are truly a religious person. I think you should try to do something if it is possible to help life go in the way you want it to. I mean that even prayers which have great power need an extra power, that is just simply YOU and the things you do on your life.

As someone said, no prayers are unanswered, and I think it is true. We either don't here the answer, or we don't like it sometimes.
Do not stop praying.
Believing in something - anything you want - gives you extra strength, and is good for your soul.

I wish you good luck.

Sometimes unanswered prayers are the best thing for you, you just do not realize it at the time. God knows what he is doing and usually knows what will eventually turn out to be the best thing for you.

Prayers are answered in three ways: yes, no, and wait. You may think that the best answer is to get what you want RIGHT NOW but God has a different view of it entirely.
Also, there is the important criteria mentioned in James 4:3 "When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures."
First is what you're asking for in God's will? Sometimes, even asking for healing might not be what God wants. Paul asked for a "thorn in the flesh" to be removed and it never was. God told him that "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (II Cor 12:9) Are you willing to trust Him even when you don't get what you think you need?
Second, why are you asking for it? God isn't the Big Slot Machine in the Sky, pull the handle and get the jackpot. He knows your heart when you ask and He knows what will be the best thing for you. Are you willing to "wait upon Him."?
Third, are you willing to thank God even when He says "no" or you can't understand why something has happened? I Thes 5:18 says: "give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." This is the roughest part, thanking God even when things are really tough. People just don't want to go around thanking God when they lose someone they love or they just wrecked their car. But this is just the time when both you and God can see what you're really made of...and how much you are really willing to lean on God, and not your own understanding.

Answer them yourself! I mean, work to make what you want come true, whatever it is. I do believe in the power of good vibrations, or prayer if you like to call it that. Try thinking good thoughts about someone you care about, or pray for them and see what happens in a few weeks. Maybe you're not patient enough, or maybe you've been asking for something that was not good for you at this time!

i've never had a prayer go 'unanswered'...i haven't always been happy with the answer, and sometimes the answer has been the gift of the strength to do what i need to do in order to overcome the problem

I don't know..I've never had that happen..sometimes I didn't like the answer but I've always gotten one. Maybe you've been given yours and you just don't like the results. It doesn't matter what you've prayed about..if you have given it to the will of God then you are still in good hands because His plan is always the best way to go even though it may not seem like it. What else are you going to do. Read the Book of Job and you will better understand. "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.." Continue to seek God and His will for your life. I know I have and I've committed to Him fully all that I am and all that I have because I know who my redeemer is and there is nothing I can do for myself. If He wants it for you..nothing will stop it..if He doesn't it might be for your own good. I mean this for even the most dire of circumstance because I have been through those too. Love in Christ, ~J~

Pray again until your prayer is answered, but remember that your prayers may not be answered in exactly the way that you hope or expect. Also, you can ask others to pray for you, to enhance the power of your prayers.

Sometimes get frustrated, sometimes forgive God, sometimes laugh at Him and other times talk with Him and clear my view points. Oh! and there are times when I am happy that my prayers were unanswered and I dance in joy.

It's said that it either means NO or Wait for the right time. If it's no, then perhaps there is something better or it;s just not good for you. His word may help to enlighten you on what isn't his will. It's important to remember (i'm sure you know) that God isn't a human slave. When Jesus prayed, he asked for 'his father's will to be done, not his.
For someone who doesn't believe is a god, it's as if to say "what will happen, will happen, just make the best of it".
