Could you choose to be gay? I know I couldn't. There's simply no way I could voluntarily stop feeling sexually attracted to women and start being turned on by men instead. It's just never going to happen, so as far as I can see the idea of choice is a nonsense - and that's before we go into the scientific evidence.

No, I don't believe people are born gay. What does an infant or toddler know of sex? What do little children know of physical attraction? Nothing.
I don't know how people "become" gay. Human emotions are complex, and influenced by a lot of things in our lives. There may be a lot of things influencing each individual person's view of what is physically attractive, whether that individual person is gay or straight.
No, I don't believe the Christian God would deliberately "program" a human being with a desire for action, that He has already condemned as sinful. That would be sadistic, and doesn't fit what I already know about my God.

Homosexuality is not a moral issue, homosexuality is a normal human variation like height or IQ.
We cannot choose our sexuality or our height or IQ, it just isn't sensible to say be shorter for God or be cleverer for god any more than it is to say don't be gay...for God. Sexuality is not a choice.
Anyone gay or straight can choose to be celibate but there is no good reason to do that for anyone unless they want to be a celibate nun or priest.
WE CANNOT CHANGE OUR SEXUALITY!
Sexuality whether gay or str'8 is fixed very early on, partly genetic, partly due to the hormonal environment in the mothers womb and partly familial & societal influences plus many other factors none of which any of us can choose.
Anyone who says homosexuality is a choice or a sin is a liar and a rogue with a personal anti-gay agenda to push.

You can't become gay... I'm straight and I've never wanted to be gay. I was born straight therefore it would be wrong for me or anybody else to say it's how you grow up or who you spend time with, I've plenty of gay friends but am in no way inclined myself. You're come out whatever way you're created and that's that.

The bible says we are created in God's image. That means those who claim they are gay from birth are saying God is gay! I don't think so! It is a freewill choice to go against God's master plan.

Obviously that's how they were born - the sexuality miss match of the genes in them - In other words - either this is how God has created them, God has a flow in his creation or there is no God who created anything !
It cannot be a choise !

I think they're born that way. Who chooses to be gay? Who has said: "Well, why not give up my rights, make growing up even MORE confusing, and piss off the Christians!" You don't make a conscious choice to be gay, it just happens.

Some may be born that way.I personally know people who consciously made the choice to be that way.Sexual orientation is not decided by gender as much as social convention and convenience.In today's world there are benefits to being homosexual.

God did not create anybody to be a gay that is what they have choosen. we pray to God in Jesus name that He God will change them and they will come to know the Lord. Amen.

Ppl arent born gay. its the environment in which they grow makes them gay.
