alot of things. the biggest factor is what type of surgery. if it was a ingrown toenail removal there is a bigger issue at hand. call 911 if this is the case. if the procedure was major, I.E. brain surgery or spinal fusion. call your nurse you should be in the hospital still. at any rate a little discomfort or numbness to the area of the procedure is normal . if the numbness is greater then that go to the hospital

My dad has this... he had brain surgery on the RIGHT side of his brain which cause the numbness on the opposite side. but i don't know what kind of surgery you're talking about.

It is possible that the nerve system of the right side of the brain is affected due to surgery.

what type of operation was it..the operation and nerve damage could have caused it. my aunt had it and it went awa after back operation

Its where they severed the nerves sometimes when you heal it goes away. and like me it will never go away.

it's a reaction similar to shock or having a stroke, and will pass in time. pay attention to your diet.
