They have their own ethnicity because they worship themselves.
They are separate from everyone else in this world because they have no belief system such as God,Satan, gods and most importantly, they don't believe in Sin.
God bless.

Atheist are people, just like Christians, or anyone eles. The disbeief of a deity is a belief in itself. Ethics are nothing more than a set of principles, or morals to live by -- everyone has them. You may or may not beleive that, but then, that decision lies with the bounds of your own ethical judgement.

Without something telling us what to do, we're allowed to form our own opinions, so there aren't really any strictly atheistic ethics. But I think most of us follow the same common sense ethics as everyone else: Don't kill, don't steal, be nice. More or less, just don't ruin anyone (or anything) else's quality of life.

I don't think I can generalize and tell you about all atheists, but I can tell you about me. My ethics are based on a general communal memory. This includes moral codes that parallel those in the three book religions, codes from eastern religions, and answers to ethical questions I have encountered thus far in life. I am not purposefully putting together a code of ethics to follow. I don't need a list of things to follow to keep me on the straight and narrow. I just do what I know to be good, and try to stear clear of what I know to be bad, for me. Don't kill people, don't lie, don't cheat, don't purposefully hurt another, don't be greedy, etc. These things sound familiar to the followers of "God's" laws? that's cuz they are. I believe man wrote the books. And I believe that man/woman genuinely knows what is best for him/herself, after thousands of years of living in societies. It is ingrained in us. Do religious people really only get their ethics from their books??? Don't you just know what is right and wrong for you?

Atheism is the only worldview that allows true morality and ethics, since monotheistic religions are all about blindly following orders. Atheism allows for moral values to be decided according to conscience, which is the true definition of morality (look it up in the dictionary).

Every person born into this world has the light of God in his heart. That is why "right and wrong" ethics are more or less universal, even if a person is in denial about the reality of God.. isn't that a divine paradox!

Some athiests to my knowledge hole to the belief that religion is merely a means by which people are given an excuse to do the right thing, many athiests try to be ethical in order to enfoce the idea that you don't have to be "religious" to do the right thing,
the funny thing here is...how do they know what's right???
Think about it.

I've always thought it would be cool to an atheist. I could do whatever I wanted without feeling any remorse. If someone had something I wanted I could just bash their head in and take it, they wouldn't need it anymore right. Life would be cool because whats yours would soon be mine. And I wouldn't have to care knowing I was going to hell anyway. Oh I forgot there wouldn't be a hell then, cool. Bash on!!!

Yes they can have there own ethics,we all do.That is not the same as morality though.
Ethics are standards that are convenient and workable.
Morals are standards that are not convenient and have to be worked at.And like it or not morality is derived from religion.
