These few years lo! 2002-2003 NO Valentine's Day bcoz i had no b/f, so i should not complain; But 2004 i had a b/f from May-Aug.. Just missed it; 2005 had a b/f in Jan, not late enough to catch the day; And in the later month, end of Feb, i had a b/f, just missed it again!!!
And this year 2006! I missed it again! Not becoz changing of b/f(i'm still with the b/f in 2005), but bcoz he was sick on that day!! And i stayed in his room the whole afternoon... Loxz, i missed it again.
And next year, i suppose the history will play itself again! HOw! Am i cursed or what? Did i enjoyed too much in my last life??

Focus on your Birthday as that is your personal day to celebrate. Valentine's Day is a commercial romantic day that florists, candy makers and holiday card companies have over hyped, just like so many other holidays.
I think it is much more romantic to receive little gifts on your anniversary (wedding, first date, whatever) or just out of the blue for no particular reason other than expressing his love for you.

Maybe you are cursed on that day. Just accept it and don't stress out next February. Focus on the things you are in control of and let things fall where they may.
Best Wishes to you and your bf.

Mr. Chivalry says, "A true gentleman would make everyday Valentine's Day for you. You don't need Feb 14. Valentine's Day could be Aug. 5 if the two of you wanted it to be."

Mr. Chivalry has spoken.

What's the big deal about Valentine's Day? It's just a random commercial day. If it upsets you so much, make a random day with your boyfriend to have your own personal VDay. And hey, everything would be cheaper.

You didn't miss it because you are still living you just didn't get a chance to celebrate it.
