I'm in my thirties, and notice that my grey hairs are thicker, curlier, and more rebelious than my dark hairs. This is most worrying, will I have a head full of grey 'pubic-style' hairs when I'm 40?

Mine are like that, too. Whatever you do tho, don't pull them out...my first grey was right in the middle of my parting & I pulled it out and as the grey patch got bigger I kept on pulling. I now look like the bride of Frankenstein with a big grey streak at the front of my hair...still some people pay money to look like this. Grow old gracefully is what I say!!

This is simply due to your genetics. Unfortunately, you inherited the gray hair genes. Blame your parents, as well as your grand parents for this. You will most likely have a full head of grey hair by the time you turn 45, that is if it has already started. Its ok, you can color ;D

I think it has something to do with the lack of pigment. A good hairstylist will suggest styles that can tame it. Besides, it may actually look very nice when you're 40.

I have the odd one or two (lol) and I agree, they are much more coarse, maybe the only advantage will be the savings on hair gel when Im old? or will I be expected to use Bryl-creme then?
