I've been sponsoring my husband through the immigration process for years. I recommend that you wait for the 10 years for him to come back. He can then apply for a Fiance Visa to come into the states to marry you. After you're married he can change his status and get a conditional green card. Once you're married for 2 years you can get the condition removed and he has a green card. Three years from when he gets the conditional green card he can apply for citizenship. It's a long process, and he's already at a disadvantage because of being caught. Sorry to tell you but that is being in serious trouble as far as US CIS is concerned.

As far as cost, every stage of the process requires at least one form... and every form has a filing fee. They range from $150-$300 ish depending on the form. If you hire a lawyer to help you (which we haven't) then it costs a lot more.

Good luck. Based on my experience with the system, everything you do that tries to cheat the system makes it harder, take longer, and more likely to be rejected at every turn. Trust me, they have records of everything!

He has never been in trouble for anything except being Illegally here for 4 years. That's a crime, and there is good reason for it being so.
Singularly, it seems innocent, but multiply his case by the millions and that is the problem.
Go to him. It should not seem incredible to sneak under the fence and live in Mexico with him? Isn't it the same concept in reverse?

Border Patrol sellers are in severe want. Not since of the unlawful immigrant limitation however since of the drug cartel and terrorist limitation. The drug cartels are particularly hazardous and they don't seem to be your sensible every day criminals they're greater than a mafia and 3 occasions as strong. I appreciate border patrol sellers for having the braveness to move towards whatever like that.

In 10 years he can come back marriage isn't an option for citizenship at this point isn't possible. If he tries to come back now he'll go to jail for 10 years without possibility of amnesty or returning.

yes you can...you need to start by hiring a lawyer right after you marry him. After that your lawyer need to write a letter requesting a pardon to the supreme court in washington...this would take around 4 or maybe 5 years for him to return this time legally with you as a wife...I wish you good luck !!

Just go to Mexico. We have way too many Mexicans here already that we need to get rid of.

You can appeal his case to let him return to the US and apply him for a fiancee visa. Otherwise, if you really love him, you must immigrate to Mexico.
