Do you people have any tips on how I could suprise my girlfriend...she is comming back from a missions trip in 2 weeks and I want to suprise her with something. I was thinking just showing up on her doorstep when she gets home with flowers and then take her to dinner or something, but do you guys have any creative ideas?

what's your budget ?
I'll give you few ideas and choose what you like :
1- If you have a key to her house . go to her room and fill it with flowers and candels with a small card to say something about how much you missed her .
If you don't have the key . do the same to your room and pick her
from her house to yours.
2- She will be very tired after the trip . so , you can buy her a massage voucher or ask a specialest to come to your house for her privet session.
you can do it your self if you're good at it .
3- Insted of taking her out for dinner , you can bring home some fine food . decorate the house with romantic stuff.
4- Buy these things :
lots of roses , bath bubbles and oil , massage oil , the dessert she like , a romantic music CD , candels and aroma therapy house perfume for relaxation .mayby Lavender will be nice .
draw a line from roses starting from the door to the bath .. where you filled the tub with warm water and bubles and the candels are all over the place .
write her a small note to go to the bedroom when she's relaxed and put it inside a bottel , lock the bottel and let it flow in the water .
in the bed room . you filled the room with candels too . roses around the room . play the music . and sit a small table with her favorite dessert on it .
when she come in the room . you can massage her body to relax her even more .
she might sleep when you do .
just let her sleep .. you want her happy . tommorow will be a good day for your reward .

Aww how sweet you wanna surprise her!!! Brownie points from me!!! Alright you need some of her girlfriends to help you on tis one. See if they can get her to be around or in one of her fave places (resturant,store, etc) then be all casual and walk up to her and give her a nice card something romantic and corny like.. roses are red violets are blue i'm only me when i'm with you.. I just made that up.. i rock huh? :P ANYWAYS, after that say like i've missed you and Tah-dahhh and etc and then take her into the resteraunt or whatever and get her something ....... Think about it...

Actually plan something. Flowers are nice, but show up like dressed nice and have a reservation somewhere she likes or would never expect from you.
Heck, if you've been going out long enough and you love her, plan a great evening and pop the question. That would be a shocker I'm sure!

Meet her at the airport ,hire a limo guy to stand there with a sign with her name on it..escort her to the limo with you in it of course,and then go to dinner,and you can give her the flowers in the back of the limo.
Something she would never forget and she will be on cloud nine forever.
This might set you back 3 or 4 hundred bucks ..but it would be definitely worth it don't you think ?

Do something really cute like leave her notes that lead her somewhere. Say like, "I know you've been gone and working hard... so go to the fridge for a nice cold drink..." (or something she really loves and probably wasn't able to have) and put her favorite drink or food in there with another note that leads her somewhere else and then eventually to you or a picture of you or even just to call you... Something cute and fun like that. Have fun!

She might be too tired to go to dinner. How about making dinner for her, or bringing it over? The flowers are a good idea, and maybe a nice card where you can write a welcome-back message inside.

My boyfriend was recently outside the country for three weeks. I wrote my daily thoughts for him each day, starting from the day he went away till the day of his arrival.
I made it a page a day, with the date and the count of number of days left till his return written on the header.
Each day, I would write how i miss him and what happened on that day. On three days, I even wrote him poems.
On the day of his return, I bound the pages into a booklet and gave it to him. That way, he knew exactly how i had spent my time without him and what i go through when he is away.
He was really happy about it saying it was original and touching.
