If you believe the bible then you should believe it as well because the bible says so, but as it's the bible there's probably something that says exactly the opposite as well!
How was it established that the Jews were "traitors", "lied to god" and "didn't do what they were supposed to do"?
You sound as if you believe that this is real, do you base your question using evidence from the bible? It's a story book; there's no evidence to prove any of the bibles contents.
How could the Jews be traitors? What did they betray? IF you believe the bible: if I had to put up with god murdering the first born children of my enemy I'd lie to him if I thought I'd live longer too! As for not doing what we're supposed to do - if there were no sinners there'd be no need to invent a god.
This next statment assumes the bible is more than a storybook and might be worth your consideration as you obviously think it is: had the Jews stopped jesus being executed all you god botherers wouldn't have evidence of a so called "son of god" coming back to life, jesus wouldn't be remembered for his big party piece and therefore you wouldn't be worshiping him - so thank the Jews whenever you get the chance because their inaction gave you your entire religion.

First of all The Bible was written, some 5000 years before the Koran, more the Koran extract thing from the Bible, so it isn't original.
Second, they are always disobedient people in every religion, race, country etc. People are disobedient always!
A Father love their kids don't matter how disobedient they are..
Jews choose GOD, that is why God choose them too! They Jewish religion was the only monotheist religion in the time that all other religions were polytheist! That is why God, walk with them. Of course, they are many disobedient Jews, are they are christian, catholics, Muslim, Buddhist, etc.
Have you been all your life 100% obedient...ja!
So read study and then ask!

welll, i dont want to sound too spiritual or religious as the case may be, but im sure my answer will help you understand the Jewish nation, Israel, better.
Jews dont "think" they are the ones chosen by God, or whatever you say, but the fact remains they are "God's chosen people" and will continue to be so till the end of time.
you cant fully understand the mystery behind the Jewish nation of Israel till you read deeply into the Old Testament of your Bible or read books on Jewish history.
God made promises to the ancestors of the Jewish nation, such as Abraham, Jacob, David and even Solomon. As you know, God is not like man who breaks His promises based on another person's actions. He has always kept His promises regardless of the circumstances.
also, dont forget that it has been established long time ago also that all of the human race are traitors in one form or the other, but that doesnt stop God from loving us and sending His son to die for all of us.
David in the Bible was and adulterer, yet God called him a man after His heart. where people betrayed God, He has always punished them, but He will never desert them...
we are all sinners, yet God calls us the apple of His eyes...the list is endless.
i guess the relationship between God and the tribe of Israel is one which cannot be unravelled by humans like you and me. but the fact remains that whether you and i like it or not, God has favoured that country of Israel and will continue to, till the end of time.

The first book of the tora was literally dictated by God to Moses. Word for word. This book hasnt changed one bit. Not a single word or phrase has changed throughout history and jewish scribes are only allowed to copy the book when they are perfect at their job. This in itself is reason to belive that they are chosen. Because their histories say it was so and they can trace their histories very acurately, unlike christians, who make it up as they go along. I bet you are a christian...........
Ps Im not jewish, and I have no public faith, but dont bash people because I feel inadequate.

The bible has a lot of crap in it, but that particular bit of crap is not there. Jews, Christians, Muslims, are all enthralled by a complex fabric woven from pure superstition. Each views the other with considerable lack of trust. Each is justified in doing so, but lying to god was not a factor.

Most kosher and true religious Jews do not believe Israel should exist yet. they know that Israel will only be given to the Jews by G-d. the Israel that exists now is man made and so a blasphemy.
There have been massive demonstrations worlwide, by strict adherents to judaism, protesting against the existence of israel.
the zionist controlled media do not publicise these demonstrations so that they can label anyone who disagrees with Israel's existence as antisemitic.

Jews are God's chosen people, just as Eskimos are God's frozen people.
Everybody likes to think that they put on this earth as part of some divine or cosmic plan. So why not called yourself the "chosen one".

I do not know much about Jews but I think, according to their belief, they were once right to claim so. They are the descendants of Abraham.
If the Jewish religion is the right one I am happy for them to have it - honestly happy.
If it is the not the right religion I am hoping for them to find the right one someday before it is too late.
These words come from my deepest heart. I hope every Jew who reads these words will understand what I am trying to say.
