I have horrible back pain because of a prior injury. My doctor gave my some hydrocodon, but I put off using it because I had heard that people get addicted to it really easy. Anyway I finally broke down and took some the other day and I felt fine. It made my back pain go away and didn't make me feel loopy or anything. But then I took another one last night and it almost made me feel drunk or high. I do NOT like that feeling And wanted to know if anyone knows why it did that the second time and if I'll feel like that if I take it again.

You are right to be concerned about addiction to this drug......but if you take it as prescribed and only when needed you shouldnt have a problem....., you may have still had some of the first dose in your system when the second made you feel high.......try breaking one in 1/2 next time and see what happens

You might feel like that again, it depends. Addiction has very little to do with the drug, more to with the people. I take hydrocodone, for severe knee pain and, headaches and, I'm not addicted and, I don't get that high feeling anymore, I used to when I first started taking it... it'll probably wear off eventually.

Hydrocortisone is a good drug if not misused and not taken too frequently and taken on advice of your physician. You must be lifting things by wrong technique. Our back has boxlike arrangement of vertebra and is unable to bear weight. While lifting anything bend your legsat knee and not the backbone.Hip joint is a ball and socket joint and can bear any weight.visit your physician and ask for back exercises to strenghten the back muscles. You can also try traction on your legs..about 5kgs on either legs with sand or similar material.
