It is ridiculous statements like yours that leads to many people leaving their problems to get to the untreatable stage.Have a walk round any hospice and see if your god is about because if he is he must be sleeping.

So why are there so many diseases in the world? Don't hide behind the devout believer statement, and don't use the get out clause of god not having to prove himself to us, because when there are viable arguments to disprove the biblical idea of world creation and an omnipotent power, if god botherers want an increase in the number of people who worship god, that's exactly what he should be doing.

Were I you I would spend more time considering if god actually gives a crap about people, I don't see any proof that he does but I suppose if you hang around with god botherers you'll be as sheepish as them and be certain that he does.

Living proof baby!!! I had a brain stem glioma tumor when I was 13. The doctors down in Dallas said I had 10 years at the most. I am 29 years old now. I was reading a section in the bible about when Jesus was alive and a man came up to him, fell on his knee's and ask Jesus to heal him. Jesus then said do you believe I can heal you. The man said yes and Jesus healed him right then and there. That is when I believed he could heal me too! A month later I was in church and we were having communion. I started realizing for the first time that it wasn't just a cracker and grape juice! I thought of what it really ment. At that moment I felt like something was pulling something out of the back of my head. I knew that he had to be taking out that brain tumor. When I got out of church I told my mom and dad about what had happened. When we went to my doctor down in Dallas my doctor came in our room. Before she said anything I looked at her and said it's gone isn't it. She looked at me with a big smile and shook her head yes!!!
God does heal! Sometimes I think that he takes a person because he doesn't want them to go through anymore.
A lot of people say he isn't real or that he is very cruel. I don't. Now don't get me wrong there are times I get really mad at him and ask why! But he has a plan for everyone. My friend Pricilla died. She just went through so much and I think God just wanted to bring her home so she could rest and be happy. But to make a long story short..., I know in my heart he does live and that he does love each and every one of us. He has been trying to tell so many that but they just don't want to listen to what he has to say. I was 17 when I talked to my doctor down in Dallas about that brain stem glioma I had. They, all my doctors, thought I wouldn't be here today. Why..., God has me still here for other plans. But when it is time for me to go don't worry about me. Because I know where I am going and I know where I have been.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.
That WHOSOEVER believeth in him shall not parish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Sure, the bible tells us so. Do you not know his son Jesus? If not, I recommend the film "Passion of the Crist" directed by Mel Gibson and starring James (sometimes also known as Jim) Caviezel as Jesus to you. It is a little brutal, nevertheless it s worth watchin.

If you do not like brutal movies I recommend the film "The Greatest Story ever told" starring Max von Sydow who is defenitely one of the best actors who ever played the Jesus role.

God is imaginary. His imaginary self has no effect on diseases.

Praying to God makes no statistical difference to whether a person is cured or not. It only comforts the person praying because they don't feel so helpless.

I'm afraid God does not exist.

Wrong. If He could, He would. Obviously, you are not paying attention because millions are still suffering. He can only heal those who are willing to help themselves and do what it takes to improve their lives. Even then, not all folks are that fortunate. I'm one of the lucky ones. He helped me find my way out of suicidal depression and terminal alcoholism. I'm proof that miracles exist.

'nuff said?

The body itself can heal certain diseases provided you maintain it in the right way (a better living in a better environment). The causes of illness & infirmity are man-made.

Yes I believe He can, but you also have to believe HE can. You gotta have a strong Faith. Yes, drs are here to help, that's why he put them here.
Unfort there are diseases, and that's the way it is.
He has everyone's life planned out, all we can do is have the Faith, believe in Him.
