well glad 2 answer that,

and dear whosoever it may concern v just dont say that in quran. a muslim will always say bismillah hir rahman nir rahim before he does start with anything.

quran or furqan means "the criterion to judge between the right and wrong".

well i dont know how many people actually know this, but prophet muhammed (pbuh) was an illetrate, he never knew 2 write and read.

once at the age of 40, when meditating in caves he saw an angel gabriel who asked him 2 read a verse. but being an illetrate muhammed (pbuh)could not read.

but eventually gabriel taught him the verse. when muhammed (pbuh) reached his village, people were shocked that how could a man who never knew a word could speak such beautiful versus.

since then, from time to time, as per god's wish, gabriel came to muhammed (pbuh)and revealed the verses.muhammed (pbuh) would learn them by heart.

since the prophet could not write he would ask his companions in faith 2 write it for him.

but one thing is for sure all books of faith have been modified even the holy bible, but till day there has been no man on earth that could produce a verse more beautiful and divine than in quran.

and it is god's challenge as in surah baqarah

"and produce a verse thereof,
and bring yee witnesses for it.
and yee will not and yee cannot.
then be ready to be thrown in the fire of hell,
whose fuel is of men (and their sins).'

The quran, the bible and all other religious books were written by men, men who wanted to develop a form of mass control, and boy did it work. It worked all over the world, but worked so effin good in the middle east. Just turn on your television, you can see it every day, Israel/lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan amd somalia. They have been fighting for centuries, with no end in sight and who suffers, the poor while those in power live in palaces. Forsake your prophet, your god and your religion (no matter if your muslim/islamic/christian/jehovas witness or whatever) and live free of this control.

Muhammad made up the whole thing.

When he was alive, Arabs were disorganized pagans. He saw how organized, disciplined and successful were the Jews and Christians. He felt that a monotheistic religion was the reason.

He told Arabs about Allah and pretended that the whole Koran was dictated to him - which he then dictated "by memory" to his nephew because he was illiterate.

Muhammad was a very ambitious and ruthless man. He sought economic and political power in order to unite the Arabs under HIS flag. He called his movement "Islam" (which means "Submission") and demanded loyalty from his followers and soldiers by having them pray to his birthplace (Mecca) 5 times a day.

Muhammad was a fraud but a very smart and cunning leader. He attacked caravans between Mecca and Medina in order to gain wealth and collect weapons.

Look up his historical life (not religious accounts). He killed a poet Asma Bint Marwan because she wrote a poem critical of him.

He made sure his soldiers took women as prisoners in order to grow his flock.

God/ Allah didn't write "any of the Bible/ Quran" It was written by the prophets as God showed them of what was to come in the form of dreams. And he told them things they should write to the people

I do not personally believe the quran is god's word, but just something written by Mohammed, someone who was not a prophet....the writings are too erratic and disoriented to be from god.

It means " with the name of ALLAH , The Magnificient, The Most Mercifull."
It means The Allah wants all people to start with the name of One who can help u, who can forgive u, who bless u with peace when u call Allah.
Quran is the GODs word, it is established.
