god that's a hard 1!! Iv been there n u cant just forget about some one however it really is wot u need to do!b4 u get hurt. he may have feeling for you but its properly not going to be love and if he has a girlfriend he problem won't leave her its hard i no but u have to walk away

He may well love you but he can't just say it, he has to back it up with action, by leaving his current girlfriend without any guarantee from you that you will go out with him if he does. Only then will you know for sure if he loves you.
Until then, you need to stop seeing him. Tell him to come and talk to you when he has left his girlfriend and not until then.
Don't disrespect and undervalue yourself by allowing him to use you. The terms should be exclusive or not at all. Tell him to let you know. You wouldn't be being a *****, you would be standing up for yourself and your rights as a person.
A word of caution; even if he does leave his girlfriend for you, seeing someone behind her back has proved that he can be a deceitful and disrespectful person. He will never change. He is quite capable of treating you the same way when he gets into a proper relationship with you. Be wary and think carefully.

it depends. they can love you as a friend or as a a gf. as it souds, he shouldn't be saying it as a gf, as he already has another gf.
just ask him what he means. if you know he means it as in gf love, then confront him and ask him why, if he does love you,is he with another girl. chances are that the guy is after a little on the side (sorry if i am upsetting you, but better realise it now than later). Still don't take all of what i'm saying to heart. he might be a really nice bloke. just ask him why he's doing what he's doing.

No. He probably said the same thing to his girlfriend, and look at him now - trying to hook up with another girl. That gives you an idea what kind of person he is - the cheater that he is.
Think about it. if the situation were reversed, and you were the girlfriend, and you found out he was trying to hook up with someone else. You'll just get hurt.
There are better, honest guys out there...

Let's just say that he does... do you actually you want to be loved by a man who doesn't have the decency to leave his girlfriend as he's in love with someone else?
He doesn't deserve you - or his girlfriend. It's hard but I would strongly advise you walk away now and forget about him. Have more self-respect.

no hes really trying it on. hes not even honest enough to say that he wants a bit on the side! if he did love you he would tell his girlfriend and have the guts to really show you that he loved you. I agree with most of the other answers apart from the lady that said guys who cheat always cheat, thats not true I cheated before and ended up losing big style that taught me a valuable lesson and Ill never cheat again.

Yes but do you think he'll leave her for you ? If not then I would forget about him before your in too deep.. will only end in tears and you may not feel too bothered about the GF now but if you fall for him, it will be on your mind every time he's with her. If he really loves you, he'll leave her so until he does... cool it off.

i have been in the same position as you and yes you can believe him, we both had partners. We carried on with our own relationships but we were great as well. I know it makes him a cheater but if you like him and he says he loves you believe him. Hope everything turns out ok huni! good luck!

Just until I'm done bangin' him. Then no,I know it's B.S. just kidding- It depends,....I did the last time that happened. He left his girlfriend, moved in with me for 6 mo.'s, went back to her for 3 months, and has been back with me for the past 2 yrs.-- And we're really happy....

If a guy does not leave his girlfriend for you then he does not love you. He simply wants to sleep with you. If on the other had he has left his girlfriend it may be true.
