smuggling? you want to smuggle illegal drugs into a prison?
smart move buddy. i would say 5-10 years.

On the federal side, marijuana or any schedule III drug could get you up to 5 years. More serious drugs up to 20 years. Thats just for introducing contraband into a federal prison and does not include time for possession.

Depends on what state you are in, how much drugs, and what type of drugs. You're definitely talking at least 6 months jail time and fines even for the smallest amount in a liberal state like California.

don't do it.... that's just stupid. They get searched afterward anyway. If you really feel the need to "help" find a way to get that kind of thing to them through someone when they will be doing day work outside the prison/jail.

mandatory minimum for possession. then the separate charge of smuggling contraband, a felony. you're talking a bit of actual time for this activity
