I think the best way comes from within - when you are healthy, eat balanced, take your vitamins, sleep well, do some sports, and don't get much stress, your hair gets more lustre than any shampoo+conditioner can give it.

Good hair cosmetics is still not an issue to be overlooked, though. You have to experiment with shampoos to find the one, or better, a couple, who suit your hair best, and alternate (washing for too long with one shampoo only made my hair sort of "used" to it, and it has no good effect now).

Also, I brush my hair 100 times daily, to remove the dead hair and massage the scalp, I think that helps a lot.

I'd say the best way is to use volumising hair products - they make your hair look fab. There are loads of products on the market - try buying a hair magazine or even just a fashion mag that will give you ideas and ratings of products that are good quality. You can also ask your hairdresser - they usually know what products are good and not.

Everyone who said egg is right. I was egged on my birthday by my own mother *gasp*, but when I washed the egg out, my hair was so soft, thick and shiney!! Also if you want to wake up your hair and you, try washing with a good shampoo and rinsing with fizzy water. My favourite shampoo at the moment is Head and Shoulders menthol.

im a long haired blokie thing.

people are always suprised how good my wig looks.

a couple of facts about me and my hair.

ive had it cut once in 5 years

i wash it no more than once a week.

its got lustre
its not dirty
its not all split

the more frequently you wash it the more you brush it the more you blow dry it- the more you damage it

loreal and co would have you believe it needs intensive care, wash 5 times a day in this blah blah blah.

im living proof that its a load of rubbish

try it for a month and see what happens

nature care works best for hair issues. try conditioning it with henna and egg. Also masage ur hair with olive oil or almond oil. It will rejenuate ur hair roots.Use artificial stuff like shampoos and conditioners as little as possible because they contain chemicals which on the long run spoil hair strands and cause problems like split ends, rough hair etc.

There are some great products about, try frizz ease shine it will make you hair glow but don`t use too much as it looks greasy or choose another product as they have loads.

I used dove shampoo and it made my hair really lank so try a different shampoo.

Why don't you pop into your local hairdressers and ask what product would be best for your hair type, they are the professionals and advice costs nothing.
Apart from that my daughter uses pantene conditioning creme, her hair always shines. Good luck.
