I plan on jogging here in a bit... it stopped raining, there's no thunder, but distant lightning in the background.

Probably safe, but make sure your route has shelter to duck into just in case. For a really good explanation on lightning, read this book: "Shattered Air," by Bob Madgic. You will be amazed.

A jog shud not take you more then 20/30 minutes - go ahead even if u get wet. SO WHAT !!!!!

i dun even bother if theres thunder and lightning. i cont cycling

it is safe when it is only thunder but if lightning, dangerous!
