If you are talking about phones, then I would say mobile means its portable - in general terms, but cellular says specifically that it is portable because it employs a network of transceiver cells.
So a cellular phone is a type of mobile phone but a mobile phone may not necessarily be a cellular phone - for example one could employ satellite tranceiver technology instead of cell stations.

Mobile phones operate by sending and receiving signals from the nearest phone tower. The area around the tower is called the "cell", hence the word "cellphones". Mobile simply refers to any object which can be easily moved or carried around. A cellphone and a mobile phone are the same thing. I hope this answers your question.

None.Cell phones and Mobiles work with the same type of cellular network. Some countries call them cell phones, others mobiles. It just depends where you are (US-cell) (Australia/Nz-mobile)etc.There are however different types like GMA,CDMA etc.
Satellite phones a different matter altogether.Google it!.
