it's kind of misleading "radio waves"
what we typically think of as radio waves is a small portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. Light, micro, infra red, ultra violet, UHF, vhf, are all part of the same spectrum. Different band widths (from one frequency to another) have a different name we use to identify it for our use.
