Laxative abuse is a type of Bulimia, people use these to rid them selves of food. You must cut down the amount you use gradually. You will feel that you cant go to the toilet with out them, but you body will recover quickly, and if you are underweight then it is not helping. Look on search engines, for tips to help you overcome this, it will slowly ruin your life, and cut it very short indeed. You may also find that 2 will soon not be enough then you will start to increase the dosage. Seek help and advice from your GP.

Yes, your body can get so dependent on them that it won't "move" on its own. Alternatively, your intestines can get to the point they shut down entirely and you end up in surgery. This is common in anorexic girls.
Try changing your diet to include more fibre--fresh fruits and veg--and drink plenty of water to keep your stools soft. And stop the laxative habit. You may need to consult a dr if you've been self-medicating. Yes, I know, it's embarrassing--but you don't want to end up in the hospital.

Do not take them anymore, just drink lots of fresh water 2pints a day and eat lots of fruit and veg and brown rice.Do not eat white bread or any other product that will block up your colon. Also go have your colon looked by a Dr.

Has the doctor advised you to do this? If not you should ask your pharmacist or GP i cant see this doing you any good. I would imagine it would make you lose more weight. No i wouldn't advise it to be honest with you, just take them when you really need them.

You will eventually become dependent on them and won't be able to go unless you take them.
Why are you doing this to yourself?
