If the world needed to be saved and the only way to save if, is to sacifirce your baby(meaning to kill him or her). Who would you spare...and why?

Thanks to the people who answer the question. For the person who said it would never happen. Well it actually did when God sacarfice his son, to save human kind. The question was to see who would have compassion and mercy on the human kind like God. Even though God son shed his innocent blood on that cross he still loved him. I thank God for Jesus son dying for me to give me a choice of LIFE OR DEATH. Death has no sting!!!
It was more to this question then what meets the eye.

Jesus almost certainly died while impaled on a simple stake, rather than a cross of two intersecting beams. Of course the Romans had the ability to create such devices, and probably did. But ask yourself: why they would have bothered when a simple stake would have worked just as well or better?
It is also enlightening to examine other relevant Scriptures.
You may be interested to see how your own copy of the bible translates Acts 5:30, Galatians 3:13, Deuteronomy 21:22, 23, and Acts 10:39. The King James, Revised Standard, Dyaglott, and Jerusalem Bible translate the instrument of Christ's death simply as "stake" or "tree" because the original wording simply does not support the idea that this was more than a piece of upright wood.
It is also eye-opening to examine how the first-century Christians felt about idols of any kind, much less one that glorified an instrument of death.

Don't questions like this come up in religious writings a lot? Isaac had to (almost) sacrifice his only son until God told him to stop, God sacrificed his only son for the good of the world, the Pharoah's only son was sacrificed because he would not let the Jews leave Egypt...
A better question (to me) seems to be: why do we torture ourselves with hypotheticals like this? What impossible moral standard are we trying to live up to?
Doesn't the Talmud say that if you save one life, you save the world entire? I like that perspective better: that the universe/God itself is contained within each and every sacred life.

that's what that lady did so her kids won't go to hell. Now she's out on an insanity plea.
God did it once, was it jacob and abraham? Anyway, In the christian faith, God will come to save the day with a sheep caught in the bushes.
I modern time its incarceration or the looney bin.

There's no more to answer .Christ is tha baby and God the Father gave Him up to save our souls ..God had to do this because we are as sin before God and God cannot look at sin .Jesus suffered the horrors of the cross for us ....As His father could not look upon sin He turned His Face from jesus while he was Dying ..Jesus had the sin of the world on him ..His Father Had to turn from Jesus because Jesus became that sin .So God turned away ,as proved by Christs own words on the Cross . Matthew 27 vs. 46 "MY GOD MY GOD WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME ?"

What would be the point of saving my child at the cost of the world. That would be like disinfecting the needle before you give a lethal injection. It wouldn't make a differences.

Actually no there wasnt. Any one who claims Christianity or Salvation would have known immediately what you were asking and told you exactly who has done it.

Well if you spare the kid, it dies anyway because you don't save the world. So kill the kid, save the world, and then kill yourself sounds like a plan.

You would have to spare the world because where would you live with your child if the whole world is destroyed, and you can have a lot more.
