Rice is more healthier because Pasta holds more Carbs

What is actually healthier is sprouted rice. When you sprout your rice, it "magically" contains many more vitamins and nutrients.

This is how you do it: Buy whole--not milled--rice. You need the germ still in it to sprout it. Usually brown rice is whole. Then put as much as you want to be cooking the next day in a bowl of water overnight. Keep it in a cool place. By dinnertime, it will have sprouted, at which point you cook it normally.

It depends. Rice and Pasta both contains carbohydrates. If you eat rice with meat then the calorie level will become higher. Pasta with bolognise or alfredo is simply scrumptious and quite balanced.

That's my own suggestion. Please ignore if you don't feel that my suggestion is good.

Both actually.

Rice is a staple diet for most Asians becuase they perceive it to be more filling on the belly.

Italians on the other hand, love pasta and eat it with a passion (and with red wine).

As long as you feel satisfied...it doesn't matter whether you eat rice or pasta.

Please pass the whole wheat bread.....Peace.

Rice is better then pasta for your health

2006-08-03 21:10:29 · answer #7 · answered by mystery_girl 3 · 0 0

Both can be healthy, in moderation. But the healthiest for both products is if they're whole grain. That would be whole what pasta and brown unfinished rice.

What is usually unhealthy is all the crap you put on top of either.

Brown rice is better than either of the two. Good question, BTW!

I like both. But rice alone is boring.
