I don't know all the aspects of the Da Vinci Code but I do know a couple claims and they are way off base. The code says that Mary Magdalene and Jesus got together and had a baby. After Jesus was crucified, it says that the disciples wanted to kill Mary Magdalene and the baby out of jealousy. Then there are claims that Jesus was gay because he spent so much time alone with disciples. Plain and simple, Jesus never committed any sin. He mentored the disciples so that they could carry on his legacy.

Dan Brown said his book is fiction. There are parts that are actual history, just like a historical romance novel. Read the History of Christianity and you will see that he used history in his book of fiction. His next book is going to be another controversial book about the Free Masons and Mormons. I suppose it to will be ranked as fiction.

There's no proof, but it's a great work of fiction that blends made up stuff with history and existing works of art.
