I want to have someone in my life but not be in love anymore. I want to have someone whom I like to be with and that's all but I don't want to love anyone again. How can I control this feeling? I obsreved that some people are capable to do that...Does anyone knows how?
PS: Just don't tell me to be envolved with more than one partner because its very stressful for me to manager two relationships on the same time.

There is no way of avoiding falling in love unless you remain by yourself. You are human, therefore, love is a very natural thing for humans. Obviously you've been hurt in the past, you need to realize that not everyone is the same. Get to know a person before you start giving in completely. And don't judge everyone by the same standards as the person who hurt you. There are good people out there, do not cheat yourself. Falling in love is a very beautiful thing.

Trouble comes from falling in love with someone who thinks he's higher than you. Perfect love is falling in love with someone who is equal to you... But sometimes, things happen and the two of you can't be together (including death, as your example in the additional comments mentions), or the other person messes up really horribly with something unforgivable... So I guess the easiest route, date someone lower than you. You wont fall in love, he'll treat you right (and if he doesn't it should be easy to leave him), and you'll have someone to be with.
As to that whole tattoo idea... It would remind me that pain is temporary, and in the end, pain is only a memory of an experience I once endured in life, and tommorow, I may wake up with a scar on my palm, but I can still function, stronger now for dealing with pain in the past.

Blocking a Love up to urs mind. Love is not an important thing now days.Every one loves for Time pass.Now a days love has hidden aggendas.Its hard to find a True Love. Before u do a thing think twice or more,whether that is going good for you or against you.Allways you have to convince your mind firstly.

Get a tattoo of LOVE on the palm of your hand..That way when ever you feel yourself falling in love you can look at your palm and remember exactly how much LOVE can hurt you.....There really is no way to block yourself from love and you should never want to turn off an emotion that's what makes us human..

you cannot do that, feelings of love will keep penetrate ur life with ur partner, bcz u will use to live with him, and this is strong enough to make u feel u are in love with him even if you fooled yourself and said I am not.

i think... there is no solution.. UNLESS u grow really old over night. dey saes that if u r old already. u wun lyk another person aniimore. this is cycle n way of life. so u no nid to think sh0 much abt it. it's normal.
