If you're ripping it from an audio cd, before you proceed, open Tools and go to options - there should be a folder named "Rip from cd". You have to change the format from wma to mp3 and this also unprotects your file. Then you can proceed to rip or copy an audio cd to mp3 format onto your hard disk. But if its already a file and you want to convert it, sorry but I'm also having trouble doing that. Good luck.

well, you must use an audio encoder for that. something like jetaudio, divX, also mp3converter is ok. those software can convert almost any audio type. those can be downloaded from many sites in internet
