Im 21 years old, me and my boyfriend are completely in love with each other and we are having sex. My mom keeps asking me whether or not were having sex I keep saying no but she found a used condom and then i told her that i was going to but i backed out. I feel like she will be disappointed in me if I tell her that we are but, we have talked about it and all the consequences and options of having sex and she has told me that she would not be disappointed but i still feel like she would be. I don't know how to tell her I guess I should be asking how would you like to be told that your 21 year old daughter is having sex? Yes we do use protection.

If your 21 no need to tell your mother. Just tell her its your private business and its on a need to know bases and she does not need to know.

Tell her the truth. You can say you "just" did it, if you feel more comfortable with that and you don't want her to know you've been lying to her. My mom assumed I was having sex when I went on the pill when I was 17, but I didn't have sex until I was 20, so she was really open to a dialog when I brought it up b/c she assumed I was having sex all that time and was hurt b/c I wasn't talking to her about it or confiding in her. If she's asking you, it's obvious that she cares about what's going on in your life, so tell her.

If she found a used condom, she probably already knows.
I feel that, as an adult, that sex is something this is best kept personal between me and my partner.
Perhaps what you really want is your mom to accept you for who you are. Unfortunately, sometimes preconcieved notions can prevent that no matter what you do.
In any case, there is no reason that you cannot have a close relationship with you mom while keeping your sex life personal.

Sit down and tell her the truth, she might be hurt at first but hopefully she will respect you for being honest and telling her. I would expect that my 21 year old daughter is having sex.

She already knows so there's no use hiding it or continuing to lie to her. I'm no expert but I know my parents would be proud of me for feeling comfortable enough to talk to them about this and to know I was being safe about it. She may be a little upset in the beginning but she cannot stop you from doing this nor should she try. You're an adult and you can do whatever you want. I'd fess up and apologize for lying to her about it.

Um....go to her house in the middle of the night and spray paint the confession on her walls. she'll be too mad about the mess to care that you lied. okay, seriously....well, ur 21, what could she do? ur doing what 21 year olds do she wont b disappointed shes telling the truth.

Unless Mommy is brain dead, that used condom told her everything she needed to know just say yes when she ask next time.

you are an adult, she shouldn't be asking. Just tell her you and your boyfriend are completely in love and that involves everything. Or you could say, he loves me, I love him and I just want to leave it at that. Tell her on your own time when you are good and ready and comfortable.

trust your mom she loves you and you should not lie to her. By the way she was 21 she did it too.
