You have to be sure she gets all the vitamins she needs...tis is by giving her little of everything...i mean...carbohydrates...proteins..ect
Milk products-milk,yoghurt,sliced cheese
proteins-cooked poultry/meat,fish(sliced),salmon/tuna,dried peas or beans
breads,cereals,grains-slized bread,dry cereal,rice,noodles,crackers,
vitamin C-juices,fruit and vegetables
And...lots of fruits and vegetables(also in juices)
this is what i used to feed my child:
breakfast-1/2 cup milk,1/4 cup cream of wheat,1/2 banana
snack-1/2 cup milk,1 boiled egg,1-2 graham crackers
lunch-1/2 cup milk,cheese sandwich,1/4 cup peas,1/2 peach
snack-1/2 cup orange juice,1/2 cup dry cereal
dinner-1/2 cup milk,1 chicken leg,1/4 cup rice,1/4 cup carrots,1 cup ice cream
Of course you can vary..but that is the healthiest you can provide!!
gd luck
:)

I give my daughter anything and everything that i eat.
She loves meatloaf. Corn is a fun favorite too.
She has had strawberries, but is not very fond of them. She has tried fish (with the exception of shell fish which is the fish you should hold off on due to allergies). Tuna fish she likes.
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are good too.
Grilled Cheese.
Polly-O String Cheese.
Yogurt (yumsters is the best because its a thicker texture and isnt as drippy as the other yogurts).
She also LOVES bananas.
Pasta (elbows, ditallini are fun favs)
Macaroni and Cheese (i like velveta shells and cheese).
Good Luck! Dont be afraid to try new things. If you and your family normally eat spicy foods, introduce them to her now.

Anything that you can eat.. you can feed your 1year old provding it is in pieces small enough so they can't choke on them... I discourage nuts, and other hard foods such as raw carrots.. also, do not feed your baby honey ( contains botulism which will make him VERY sick) Otherwise, you don't have to be a good cook.
At 1, the best foods are foods that your baby can feed himself. Cheerios, cooked carrots, potato pieces, small pieces of meat, crackers, cut up fruit.. Anything they can feed themselves, they will love..

give them anything and everything you can expose them to! get them to like as many things as you can but dont freak if they mac n chees for a whole week! it will all work out in the end! I agree with giving them what you are eating but adjust the size . Also my daughter loved peas, cold. She is 6 now and one of her favorite snacks is frozen peas (weird I know but how could I argue with peas) also try giving large pieces of food they can learn to take bites off of, this is the only way my nephew would eat (gave him whole slice of pizza instead of cut up, he was good about taking bites but watch them very closely to make sure they figure out to stop with just one bite at a time)

Your child can eat what ever you eat with the exception of real spicy foods. Cut up meats and stuff fairly small go easy on the desserts.

Pretty much and thing we eat, with the exception of nuts & seeds. She just doesn't have the teeth for those yet and chokes easily. We cut up her meat into small pieces and she just goes for it.

yogurt, cheerios, fruit, cheese, veggies slightly cooked so they are softer. They can pretty much eat anything as long as it is cut small enough for them so they wont choke. Dont give your baby peanut butter yet or fish.

i fed mine mashed potatoes.... soft cooked foods like carrots, peas and green beans...
hot dogs cut up small if they have most of thier teeth... chicken pieces also cut up small....
and of course they snacked on cheerios and fruit loops as they were good size finger foods... and cookies and crackers...
stay away from strawberries or fish before the age of two... those two can cause food allergies.... and that includes tuna...
