Like it spread thinly on toast, before I go on holiday each year I always have a slice of toast morning and night with Marmite on, as by putting Marmite into your system for at least 10 days prior to going anywhere hot its supposed to ward off the mossies as they can't stand it,
works for me and touch wood never had a mossie bite yet.

It needs to be purged from this dimension.
The substance known as Mkharr'mite was discovered by the Ancient Crimson Priesthood of Mu, who first used it in ritual drownings.
They discovered that this substance, which in their language translates to Black Bile Of The Deep Ones, slowly liquified the victim's brain and internal organs before drawing their soul into the Howling Halls. This left the body a vacant shell ready for inhabitation by any nearby discarnate spirit.
Expert magic-users amongst the Mu could even control the form of the substance, conjuring pools of it to attack and slow enemies or fling tentacles surging from their hands to strangle them.
Legend has it that the ancient Mu underworld city of Oranbega collapsed after brewers from Burton-on-Trent caved down in search of new water supplies. Shortly afterwards, a group of mysterious men founded the first Marmite factory - sending a strange, icky black substance worldwide.
So, tasty snack or ancient Atlantean curse and global domination conspiracy?
You be the judge.

A perfectly boiled egg with a runny centre and sliced toast topped with Marmite makes a fantastic breakfast.

Love it. On hot buttered toast - but not too much tho - just a thin spreadding. I'm not one of those freaks who likes it spread as thick as the bread - yeuch!!

I dont think it can be bought in the USA It is very salty and has what can only be described as having a meaty flavour, even though it is vegetable based, and is used by veggies.
