I was being slightly sarcastic, but you're too dumb to pick up on my subtleness.

And no, America is NOT the greatest country in the world, stupid American. But then again if you've never bothered to learn about other countries I guess you wouldn't know.

yes I know how to spell "Canada", that was a typo. And no, it doesn't relate to me not liking America.

I really do not appreciate all the rude responses I'm getting, you're just helping me prove my point of why America sucks. I spent a week in Toronto and people there were five times friendlier than most people I have encountered in this country, so what does that tell you.

Well, if you are going to be a nurse, I know Canada wants YOU. We have a nursing shortage here and I believe you could pretty well pick and choose where you want to live and work as a nurse. In fact, many employers will pay your costs of moving and even give you a monetary bonus to help entice you to work for them. I don't know what part of the USA you live in, but I think you should know that our weather here is not all that different than the weather in different parts of the USA, depending on where you want to live in Canada. The southern parts of Canada have the same weather as the states directly below the border. For instance, I live in Vancouver, BC and our weather is pretty much exactly the same as Washington and even northern Oregon. I was born in Portland, Oregon and immigrated to Canada 40 years ago as a child, with my family. I later became a naturalized Canadian citizen and now have dual American/Canadian citizenship and it is the best of both worlds! I still have many relatives living in the USA and so I travel to Washington and Oregon often to visit and they come here to visit us. I love Canada, but I also love the USA. You don't have to give up one in order to have the other. You shouldn't bad-mouth the USA, either. I don't know what has happened to make you think the USA is stupid, but you should know that there is good and bad about every country and you will likely see some bad things that you don't care for about Canada, as well. Anyways, good luck in your career!

I agree with you. Too much ignorance around here. There's also a proven fact, most of american graduates from college are from other countries coming here to get an education then leave back home. Academically the US does have a good COLLEGE system, not elementary or high school eduacation.
This is why there's more educated people in Canada and Mexico than in the U.S. only the low class uneducated people stay here.

Bravo! You're the exception to the rule. There are people south of my border with their eyes open. Just come. Apply to college here and you can get a student visa in some Canadian consulate. Hurry up!
P.S.: Choosing Canada: the best decision!

I'm with DeRak. You are stupid. I feel sorry for your poor mother. You are the last person to be calling anyone stupid. "Where can I sign up to move to Canada? I just need my college education first." You need to get your head out of your a$$ before you do anything, dumbass.

no one takes lightly to be sarcastic about being an American..but canada would be the only other country I would want to live in if i had to for some reason, althoughI have a friend who moved to Switzerland and loves it there....I believe you would have to aplly for citizenship just like someone wanting to come here, probably have to contact some type of Canadian embassy

You should probably go back to elementary school first and learn how to spell Canada. You missed something somewhere and it is directly related to the fact you are also calling America stupid. You better watch what you say, folks around these parts don't take to kindly to strangers.

We won't miss your attitude, Canada is socialist, colder, has more mosquitos.... Vancouver is probably the best area to go, best scenery and best weather. They have a sorry a$$ed medical system, and they love taxation. But, going there is one way to find out that the USA is the best country on earth, and that is just what you will find out.
