The answer to this question is actually very simple, if you can force yourself to believe BOTH creationism and evolution. God created one man and woman, Adam and Eve, in his image; the rest of the population grew through evolution. The wives of Abel, Cain, and Seth came from the evolutionary population they found outside the Garden of Eden.

This very simple explaination will not be argued by either side of the creation/evolution debate. The evolutionists refuse to acknowledge the creation of Adam and Eve, and the creationists refuse to acknowledge the existence of evolution, and neither one wants to be asked the question of who was created in God's image and who evolved from monkeys. It's as simple as that.

The Bible didn't tell you that there were no women for them to marry. It didn't say anything about it. You most certainly got that from a person. Is it hard to believe that God placed his created Man and Woman, in a world that was already populated? People who argue this point have no better idea than you or I. Common sense should tell you that they did find someone to make babies with. Remember, God put them out of the garden, and into a world of suffering and pain. Doesn't that sound like human history? The miraculous part of the story is about breathing life into an inanimate object. Sort of like ressurection. One of God's talents...

Cain and Abel are highlighted because of murder, it does not say they were the only kids of Adam and Eve.
