I'm on birth control pills and my b/f and I use condoms, but being the uber-paranoied thing I am, I wondered how likely it would be to use both at the same time and accidentally get pregnant.

EXTREMELY unlikely to get pregnant while correctly utilizing both forms on contraception. The sticking point is to make sure you're using both correctly. You'd be surprised how many foods or medications interfere with the efficacy of your pills. Grapefuit juice and most antibiotics will cause your pills to be less effective.

Let's just say if you got pregnant using both the pill AND condoms, you better contact the Pope because its the second coming.

I'm sure it's happened. I just don't know how likely. I got pregnant while on the shot. My second child was while on the pill. My husband & I planned our third. I think he could be in another country & think about us having another baby & I'd get pregnant!

its allways best to use both to prevent HIV AIDS your allso less likely to get pregnant , but remember condoms have been know to punture,so if you were to forget to take your pill then you could be at risk,unfortunitly there is no full proof, but your doing the right thing by useing both just dont forget pill one day can be all it takes if you forget.

Its a lesson in probablity. Multiply the failure rate of a condom by the failure rate of the pill and you have the failure rate of both.
