They say that in 2012, the sun will not shinefor a couple of days. That you have to stay indoors praying the entire time and when the sun lights up again, all the evil people in the world will be missing.

Remember what they said would happen in 2000? Just believe what you want.

"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."
Matthew 24:36-44

What are you talking about? Jesus Christ will rise? He already rose again on the third day after His crucifixion and ascended into heaven. He will come back (not rise again) soon to take His children to be with Him. When He will come? Its a million dollar question. No one can predict that. Even He doesn't know. He said only His Father in Heaven knows that. We just have to be prepared to be taken up with Him.

Yes, it's true, Jesus Christ will rise on yr 2010, and on 2009, and on 2008, and on 2007, and on 2006. He will rise just like you will rise every morning. Isn't it a good feeling? Allelujah!

Just as much of a rumor that the world was suppose to end on 6/6/6

The rumor is false. He already rose from the dead nearly 2000 years ago and is now with the Father in heaven. He will return, though, one day. The New Testament tell us that no one knows the day or the hour of His return. However, I believe we (Christians) are admonished to be aware of the signs of the times - signs that show His return is approaching. I believe His return is not too far off.

Jesus Christ is already risen. If you are referring to His coming again, then don't believe rumors. It is false prophets who predict the date of His return, for the Bible says no one knows the time or date except God. He can come in 2006 itself!

Rise like bread?
c'mon, if you are following the bible, the second coming was His being raised from the dead. The first being His birth.

And what is He coming back for? I mean, He can if He wants but I really don't think it is biblical. He fulfilled revelations at the cross. He took care of ALL sin. So this takes away already the need for hell or fear. We are just a bunch of manipulated fearmongers.

If you read your bible it says that Jesus will come back the same way left. He will be coming down from heaven, not rising. That bible also says that no one except the Father know that time and day. We can only be aware of the signs and prepare ourselves.
