Hi, I have a date with a girl. I'm not that experienced with dates, so I thought I'd just probably have a dinner and then just go for a bit of a walk or some ice cream so we can talk. But when arranging the time, the girl told me:

"ill come to hamilton, we'll grab some dinner and you figure out the rest"

so, basically the dinner was pretty much most of what I planned for the date, but she obviously expects us to do other things, and I don't want to disappoint. I need some ideas on what else to do that isn't lame.

Try taking her to someplace like put put golf, or mabye a movie. Or girls also sometimes like a simple walk in the park close to the end of the date. Hope this helps you!!

just waste a lot of time at dinner by talking and remember to listen!!! listening is very impressive. But to avoid awkward silence ask questions! as for the rest of the date don't go waaaaaay out of your way to make it 'fun' and 'interesting' just be confident and no matter what you do she'll be hooked. Your initial idea sounded great. Don't impress her too much on the first date or you'll have a lot to live up to, take it slow and build up the goods :) Don't show all your magic tricks at the first show.. oh my, im repeating myself! im sure you get the point. Good Luck

Don't go spending lots of money on something..it's just a date. Plan something where you get to know each other. The walk and ice cream are really nice....I'd like that. You could go play some pool, too, or some video games. Or go trampolening!

Take her someplace you'd like to go to, theme park, beach, movies, mall, arcade, whatever. Just relax, take her someplace that you think would be fun and can also be an opportunity for you to show off your skills, talents, or anything your into so she gets to know you better, and when you talk to her, try to find out about as much about her as you can so you know what you're dealing with.

well i really like walks & ice cream.. so she might like that.. or you could search around and see if there are any drive-in movie theaters around you.. because those are super fun.. and thoughtful. or maybe you could go ice skating.. if you have a rink in your hometown.. or maybe play some games with your family.. lol i dont know.. i just love doing all of those things with people..

well dinner is always a good start. stay away from the movies, you want to look her in the eyes, not at a giant screen. find out what she likes to do, what her hobbies are, her passions, and go from there. if you have a connection, it wont matter what you do, as long as your together.

you could drive to the beach and take a walk with the moonlight as your light and her(thats romantic)..a blanket, maybe some candles, a little snack, and you guys can just talk..or
you could go back to your place and watch a cute chick flick(she'll like it at least), and just cuddle with a blanket(if its hot then w\out)
