If 40,000 Canadians were in Lebanon, many of them tourists, it just makes me wonder how many other people go back to their "homeland" to vacation. We have such wonderful thigs to see and do in Canada. Our natural beauties and our cultural events are delightful. Too bad we can't attract more Canadians to our recreational and cultural events.

I'm a "dual citizen" and I'm vacationing IN Canada this summer. I've been to three provinces, attending sports-related events with friends. I have no desire to go "back." At least not for a long time.

Hear, hear! There was an item in the news a couple of days ago commenting on the number of dual citizens currently residing outside of Canada, and it was astonishing! Over 200,000 US citizens have claimed dual citizenship and now carry Canadian passports. But the number of dual citizens in some of the Middle East countries is just amazing.
Given the choice, I'd rather be in Canada than any of those places!

I don't have dual citizenship yet, but I am working on it. I am an American living in Canada, and while I go visit my kids and grandkids in the states every 2 months; my hubby and I will be vacationing across Canada in the fall. I want to see more of this beautiful country, and he wants to share it with me!!
