I understand how you feel. After being in a safe place like the hospital for any amount of time it can be hard coming back to the life you left behind to go get help. There is going to be an adjustment period when you first get home again. Things may seem different to you because you aren't in an altered state anymore. Reality takes some getting used to and trust me nobody really likes it. It's up to you keep a good frame of mind and not let your own head be your worst enemy. Get a second opinion from your family if you start to feel paranoid or strange and have them reassure you that you are doing the right thing staying away from drugs while you recover. Try to get into an out patient therapy group where you can connect with other people that have gone or are going through what you are going through so you don't feel like you are crazy or alone. You aren't. I'm glad that you reached out to the net to get some feed back. But also reach out to your support group around you. If you feel your parents won't believe you find some one who will that knows you well and isn't a bad influence on you, you know what I mean. Good luck and if you still feel unstable in the next few hours or days it's better for you to get more help until you are well than worry about if your parent think you are "faking" Let the doctors make that decision. Okay?
Sincerely,
Special K

Suicide is not the answer. You must find strenght within yourself to fight. Long live the fighters! Fight to get out of the situation you are in. Look for a job, do your job well whatever it is, and get away, go live where you want, be who you want to be. Don't expect things overnight, long, long time it takes for change. Just stay alive in the moment, every moment, and be thankful that you at least have the opportunity to fight your way out. If you die, then you will still be where you left off, only you will stay there foe a very, very long time, with no escape, no way to fight out of it, no opportunity.

who cares what your family thinks!!! you need help~suicide is dumb though. if you were successful, there is someone somewhere that would miss you even if you do not know who that person is yet. it may be someone you haven't even met.

i believe that we are all put here for a reason and yeah, it sucks sometimes, but GET OVER IT!! because on the other side of that, there is JOY and even though sometimes it feels like we'll never get to joy, somehow we always do.

no, you're meant to help someone down the road, and if you take yourself out, then you won't be here for that person when the time comes.

Honestly, I DO think you're lying because they would not have released you just because you SAY you feel better. They would know for sure that you were better before releasing you. So lkeep faking. And what are you trying to do by overdosing? Obviously if you want help you're not trying to kill yourself so wisen up and quit being STUPID.

Don't even worry about what your family thinks at this point. You are very brave for wanting to get help for your problem. By ALL means, go back. In this situation, you need to put yourself first. Good luck and I hope that everything gets better for you.

GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!! addiction is a disease. you need help getting over this. it is not weakness on your part to ask for help, it is the complete opposite. you will fall apart even worse the longer you wait.
