He loves you and only wants what's best for you. He died so you could live. What greater sacrifice is there than that? Don't turn away from him.

Sacrifice huh? Its not much of a sacrifice if he knew he was going to heaven now was it? If it was a sacrifice he should of went to hell for us all. Maybe in the next revision of the bible they will fix that.

i dont know if youre serious or not but, i personally agree fully. Jesus is my Lord and Savior and i would have it no other way. and just so any cynics out there reading this know, real Christians DO NOT persecute or try to force someone to believe what they are not personally ready to accept yet. do not judge a religion by its most fanatical followers, because if you do, you will never know the positive aspects...of which there are typically many. and i mean that for most religions, not just my own.

P.S. i love how everyone blames their own problems on God and Jesus, why dont you accept that we all have free-will. take some responsibility and for those who have been victimized in some way, blame the PERSON who did it, not the God whom you supposedly dont even believe in in the first place. and for those of you with the "logic" argument. what is logic? ive studied science and logic in-depth AND I HAVE THE LOGIC TO KNOW THAT NO SINGLE HUMAN BEING HAS EVER EVEN BEEN CLOSE TO EXPOSING THE SURFACE OF WHAT THIS WORLD AND THIS LIFE ARE ABOUT. you can preach to me about "facts" until the cows come home, but guess what?! in a universe with so many unknowns and so many possibilities i guess i could just as easily sit here and criticize you for thinking you can even pretend to boast that we have the answers to all the questions the universe holds.

I understand you think you're helping and that you're doing this with the best intentions, but you really need to work on your angle. Atheists hear the same exact phrases from every evangelist. Granted some don't put it as nicely, but the structure is the same.

A question on Yahoo Answers won't change anything. Even defined, personal interactions will likely fail with most atheists. Using the forum like this will only get you criticism, not converts.

So my parents, who were amazing Christians divorce. Just one day out of the blue. How could two people who show such devotion to each other and to the Lord, up and quit. I had a great life, now when I want to see my dad, I have a 2hr. flight, a 3hr. layover, and another 3hr. flight. Praise God.

I do not turn away from Christ. I have turned away from Christianity. And it is because of the actions of particular Christians that I have chosen to do so.

Hmm..how to answer that.... I could say that I do love him... I love his teachings, and what he tried to do. I do not, however, think he was a deity or is currently. Don't let people hurt your heart in that way, it is a wound that will never heal, for not everyone will ever believe what you wish them to. Oh, by the way, this was written by a Wiccan.

My head hurts for all of you who turn away from logic. Will you open your mind to it?

I respect you and only want what's best for you. Don't turn away from reason.

No one can force the" Love of God "on another person, but it won't hurt you trying. They will only hurt themselves in the longrun by ignoring your suggestion .

No, I won't. Sorry. Can't you tolerate I'm not like you?

He only sacrificed a Saturday. Besides, he's dead.

Leave my atheism and Satanism alone.
