I was told that the extremely loud sqweeking coming from the springs on my truck just weeks after I had bought it was normal!! Now it is just three months later it is so much worse than when new. Also about every 1 N 10 cranks my truck will not crank until I turn the key back and start over! They told me that it was either my key or the way that I was cranking it! When I unlock my truck sometimes it sets off the blinkers or even the hazard light, plus with any bump on the road that I hit my brakes do not work right after, I know that can be normal but I haven't ever driven a truck that was this bad, normally the brakes just don't work as good, mine do not work at all!!! If you are familiar with the TSS Series you know that I paid a lot for this truck and I love it except for I just wanna know what I can do to have it fixed the place where I bought it is being no help what so ever, I know all of these things are not normal I have owned four toyota's and never had one problem ever! HELP!

The only problem I had when buying the 2006 Tundra a month ago, was the service! Great truck so far, bad service buying it.

However, I suggest you take the truck to toyota. Park it in the front and demand them to take a look at the truck. In the mean time, you will have other's around hearing your story and maybe think twice prior to buying.

My mom did that to the 2005 Saturn Vue. Boy did she get their attention and they fixed it. My mom pulled in with it on our flat bed trailor cuz the clutch and something else went out and it was brand new.

Cuz with the breaks doing that. Something is extremly wrong. My bf thinks the same thing.

Get it done and file a suit with the company if nothing is done. That is a danger to yourself and others.

Dizz, Thank you for posting about your problem, I have been looking at Tacomas, think I'll just keep my old Toyota. Don't take no for an answer, it sounds like you have serious problems with your truck. There are a number of agencies you can contact, Better Business Bureau and Department of Consumer Affairs to name a couple. I just had my car in the shop for some transmission work, they let my car sit there for 5 days and did nothing. On the 6TH. day I started going to the shop every day, they not only got my car fixed quickly but did a lot of work free of charge and paid part of my car rental. Sometimes you just have to be a witch!!!

i have heard about a lot of problems with newer toyotas in general...i've heard the quality is going downhill. the brake thing sounds like an ABS issue, that's why i don't like ABS. maybe take it to a good mechanic? best of luck to you...
