You have alot of questions about hair are you going into or already in the business?
A common misconception about perms is that it will make your hair curly forever. The majority of people who believe this are ones that recieved a perm as a teenager. their hair may have been straight before they got a perm and then started puberty after getting the perm, therefore, when the hair grew out they thought that it stayed curly but it was just a hormonal change that triggered their natural hair to change. and in case you didn't know everyones biologcal make-up can change every 7 years and can cause your body (hair, nails, skin, bones, etc.) to change.

Not at all!
Sorry to say this but curly hair is actually an abnormality.
Curls are caused by a damaged follicle. (The hole it grows out of.)
So a bump on the head, may cause that area to grow curly.
Perming the hair is a temporary process and breaks down the polypeptide bonds in the hair. When it is neutralized the bonds are re-formed taking on the new shape. When this is cut or the weight of the hair pulls it down, the perm comes out.

I doubt it can. Perms and rebonds, like dyes and highlights, only last as long as the hair it was done on. As your hairs grow from the roots, it will revert to it's original structure. Chemical treatment could likely damage your hair and make it seem different but the hair that grows out will not take on the style of the permed curls.

I haven't but it's not true, because The part of your hair that was permed will grow and you'll cut it, right? How about the new hair that are growing? It wasn't permed, so why will you still have perms if you have new grown hair? Hope I cleared your mind.

Yes when you perm your hair it is permanent. The way it gets straight again is from it growing out. The ends though should stay permanently curly.

What I do to get some-what curly finding hair is once I take a bathtub I shake my hair out and use a curl locking spray. I spray it on my hair and scrunch it up in my arms and the curls lock in place. yet each and every so often it is going to look like it has waves yet once you utilize a %. it is going to no longer connect mutually. that's what I gain this i do no longer ought to apply a curling iron or get a perm.

Wow there are some rude people on here. Ignore them.

No, it could potentially make what hair you have now curly permenantly but your genetics will not change, as your hair grows it will grow in the same way it always has. Similar with bleaching it - sure the bleached part will stay bleached but the new growth will be unbleached as usual. Hope this helps!

LOL I'd like to know who told you this....it's impossible.... your hair grows out.... new hair.... if it's not curly to begin with, no it can not be permed under the scalp.

No, I've never heard of that, but then again stranger things happen. My hair was straight as could be, but in my 40's then it started curling.
