The Texas ID card/driver's license is actually pretty difficult to fake and make it look realistic. If you happen to hand it to someone who has lived in Texas or has seen a bunch of Texas licenses, they'll spot it in an instant.

in general, southern states are good, their ids are less involved,
right now, there is a move in NJ to have them be like passports where a computer scans them and checks, although if you plan non frequenting same place frequently, they'll catch on to your driver's license is invalid cause you only have a few weeks to reapply
also, if you look young, out of state are questioned more

Probrably won't work in Texas, Darlin'... here, the ID of a "minor" looks very little like the one issued to an "adult"

It won't work in Florida. I think there are MUCH easier ways for an underage person to get alcohol than the way you are going about it. In fact I know there are. You will probably get caught, and you will deserve it.

Just grow a beard and you won't get carded. Or just be smart and wait until you're 21. If you're really desperate make a trip to Europe, they don't have a drinking age.

Don't drink and drive, cause when you hit a bump on the road you might spill your drink!

The state where your from unless you are homeless. Then I would check with city-hall either way.
If you begin like this they'll catch you anyway so don't lie or cheat yourself in life.
